Meet Logan Ray. He was born Friday Nov 21st at 10:59 am. He was 6lbs 13 ozs.
It only took him 25 hours to get here.

Tender Mercies for us.

Steven and I had a wonderful trip taking a car to Jill. Just a few hours after our arrival she gave birth to our newest grandson. Christian Grant.

This was at the entrance of the gated community we were in. One evening when Steven, Chelsea and I were returning from town the gates were locked and no one in the gate shack. Steven got out to figure out how to manually open the gate and so I was looking at the scenery and really liked this spot. We didn't have the camera so on our why home we stopped to take these. The wind was blowing and the sun was really bright so we look funny. But Jared and Jenn and Chelsea are so cute!!!

This photo was the whole group. What a fabulous bunch of people. This gross spider decided to join us in the pool one evening.

Reunion time

Thanks to each one of you that contributed to a fabulous week in St George October 16-22nd.

People have asked me what we did and my response was: eat, swim, eat, play games, eat, swim, go to Smith's grocery, eat and swim!!!

For those of you that didn't come we missed you and hope you will try to come next year because yes we plan to do this again.

Some really ambitious people, Jared, Jenn, Glenn and Ashley hiked Angel's Landing in Zion National Park. (I tried that once)! See photos.

We also hiked a lava flow in Snow Canyon. see photos. Much more my type of hike. Papa even climbed with us (see I said more my type). We were looking for bugs, for Natasha's bug collection since she and Jake went to the movies instead, so Marianne thought we were talking about bugs when Jared picked up a lava bubble and said he was going to crack it open and see if it was hallow. Marianne thought that was pretty cruel and couldn't see why a bug would be hallow inside, but the rest of us got a kick out of that whole incident.

Can you believe that this little hole cost $1000 to fix? I was rear ended a couple of weeks ago and that is all the damage there was and it of course was $1000.

You will all me amazed that I am finally updating this site.

I had so many things I was going to post but now it is such old news that I will just do newer old stuff. Steven finally cut down the dead trees in our yard. Then we had a surprise birthday party for Jake (Natasha's husband). We had a wild and crazy slip and slide down our hill in the backyard.

Well surprise, I am finally updating this blog.
We have had a wonderful visit with Jill and her adorable children.

Wow, I have a tiny bit of grass showing!!!! I also have hope for the backyard, I can see some of the brick wall. There is a sign under the snow by the pot that says "Free snow take all you want". I really wish I could set that on top of the snow!!

When I came home from work today I noticed this ice sculpture in the front so I took pictures to share. (Those are the top photos)

I have to post a message for Chelsea. Last night Steven and I went to dinner at a Chinese resturant and brought the fortune cookies home for Chelsea. She didn't eat either one until today. Her fortune said" remember 3 months from this date. Good things are in store for you". She then asked me what today is and I told her February 26th. Well three months from today is her BIRTHDAY!!!! So she is expecting gifts from everyone that every reads this.

I am sure you can guess. MORE SNOW!

Jill says I should change the name of this blog to SNOW. We have even more snow with two more storms since I posted last. We have another one expected tomorrow. I will let the pictures do the talking. The first photo was a few days before the others. The third photo is me standing on the front walk. I need to take one of the mailbox area 'cause it is wild.

Surprise.... We have more snow!!

I can not believe just how much snow we have received this year. Even my friends that love snow are tired of it. So what does that say for those of us who didn't ever love it? Yes, we cry every time it snows. This week it has be every other day and sometimes we skip the every other part and get some every day.

As if 18 inches two weeks ago wasn't enough we got about 10 more inches yesterday.

New Year

We have so much snow in our yard that it is crazy.

I am sure that any of you that has been to this site more than once is sick of the same stuff never changing. Well today is the day!!!

I guess I haven't noticed stuff happening that was new worthy but that really isn't the case.

The best news is that my kitchen, dining room and sitting room floor are finally finished and they look fabulous. (If Jared took a real picture I will include it). What a difference after so many years of living on ugly flooring.

I have a guy coming in a little while to look at my kitchen ceiling because he is going to finish that for us. (My children gave that to us as a Christmas gift. Such awesome kids.) I will try to include photos when that gets done too.

Steven is getting ready to leave for Indonesia, Thialand and Malaysia this coming Thursday. (You all know how much I enjoy that.) But to help me get through that we have scheduled a cruise to Mexico that leaves March 8th. Maybe it will be warmer that here.
